Ruth Mesinas graduated from North County Trade Tech High School and was dually
enrolled at Palomar College. After attending Palomar College, she plans to transfer to a
California State University to pursue a degree in photography, with the goal of launching
her own photography business and a Christian repurposed clothing brand, Wear He
Inspired.
At her church, El Gran Yo Soy in San Marcos, Ruth leads the media team—designing t-
shirts, capturing photos and videos, and supporting the church’s visual ministry. At
school, she has been involved in Key Club, Leadership, and Yearbook, where she
photographed senior portraits for her class.
Ruth has earned recognition including “Artscar of the Year,” multiple 4.0 GPA honors,
and Academic Student of the Year. She’s also contributed to community projects like
food drives and youth outreach.
Rooted in her faith, Ruth sees her creativity as a gift from God and is passionate about
using it to inspire others, build a meaningful career, and give back to her community.
She’s deeply grateful for the support that helps her pursue higher education,
entrepreneurship, and positive impact through art and ministry.
