Born and raised in Southern California, Avalyn Gomez was homeschooled from Pre-K
through 12th grade. It was a journey that deepened her faith, strengthened family
bonds, and allowed her to pursue her love for music. She began playing piano at age
nine, later adding guitar and voice to her musical skill set during high school.
From the moment she entered high school, she became an active part of her church’s
worship ministry. She has regularly led worship for high school programs, main services,
and women’s ministry events. She also mentored younger members of the worship
team, helping them grow both musically and spiritually.
Beyond leading worship, she enjoys writing and composing original worship songs and
teaching piano lessons to students in her community. This fall, she will attend California
Baptist University to major in Music for Worship Arts and Ministry. Passionate about
using her gifts to serve others, she looks forward to the opportunities ahead. After
graduating she hopes to be a worship leader and music teacher to nurture a love for
God and music in the next generation.
